My main task at the
department is helping in the development of IDEA+, an Integrated Design
Environment for Architecture, where the "+" stands for the extra tools
for tests in different design phases. More information about the project can be found on the IDEA+ page. |

database |
|
I made a database of the most interesting CAD &
3D-tools. This is an overview of publicly & commercial available
software for modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering & animation, next
to some of the best utilities.
(A few updates in february 2004)

Render Study
 |
|
I made a rendering study of a building modeled in ArchiCAD and exported to different rendering
software. The results are
not always top-notch, but interesting for the sake of comparison. I'm not an expert in
all of these tools... Some renderings were donated by friendly surfers
(and new ones are always welcome). |

Web Study
|
|
TO DO: I'd like to do a similar thing as the
render-study, but with web-tools (3D mostly). I know this is a huge
undertaking, so if any of you have some experience to share... I'm not
sure that I should use the same model... It's a bit boring in the end.

Tutorials |
|
The tutorial
section contains everything I believe is worthwhile for other people to
learn... It mainly handles 3D & CAD but if I have something I want to
share, this is the place. |
